Facial Affect Sensitivity Training (FAST)
FAST is an intervention for children with behavioral or emotional concerns. This is a clinical trial that evaluates a new computerized treatment for children ages 6-11 with certain difficulties, including low empathy or concern for others, which can put them at risk for developing behavioral problems. Participants will be randomized to either receive therapy or placed in a no-treatment control group. The program is free. Families will be paid up to $600 for finishing the study in either group. Children will earn small toys and a total of $55. If you and your child are interested in participating, click the button below to complete a brief survey: The FAST R61/R33 clinical trial is supported by the National Institute of Mental Health (MH117192).
